Welcome to Organically Human, founded by Meg Freeman, a trained End-of-Life Doula. We offer compassionate support, guidance, and education to individuals navigating terminal illness and end-of-life, as well as those experiencing grief and bereavement.

We believe every stage of life deserves to be met with presence, dignity, and compassion.

How can we lighten your complex journey?

At Organically Human, we offer intentional support to individuals navigating terminal illness and end-of-life, as well as those experiencing grief and bereavement. From exploring mortality and planning meaningful gatherings to creating legacy projects and providing bedside companionship, we offer practical, emotional, and educational support rooted in dignity, autonomy, and compassion.

Everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported through life’s most tender moments.

When should we work together?

End-of-life support can begin at diagnosis, throughout treatment, or whenever you're ready to plan for the future. Whether you're navigating a terminal illness, considering hospice, or finding your way through grief, Organically Human offers compassionate guidance and companionship along the way.

  • Navigating a Terminal Diagnosis: A terminal diagnosis can bring uncertainty, difficult conversations, and changing priorities. We offer emotional support, education, and practical guidance as you process what lies ahead and explore your wishes and options.

  • Planning for End of Life: Whether you're continuing treatment or preparing for changes ahead, we can help you explore your wishes, document your preferences, coordinate practical arrangements, and connect with appropriate resources. This may include advance care planning, specialized donation arrangements, and other personal wishes for end of life.

  • Transitioning to Hospice Care: Hospice can bring its own questions, emotions, and adjustments. We provide an added layer of non-medical support through education, emotional companionship, and guidance alongside your hospice team.

  • Navigating Grief & Bereavement: Grief is deeply personal. We offer compassionate companionship and space to process loss, feel heard, and explore what support or next steps may be helpful to you.

  • Preserving Legacy & Planning Farewell Gatherings: From living farewells to legacy projects and story preservation, we help create meaningful opportunities to reflect on life, preserve memories, and honor what matters most.

You don't have to navigate these experiences alone. We're here to offer support, wherever you are in the journey.

We aim to meet you where you are.

Whether you're navigating a terminal diagnosis, planning for end of life, experiencing grief and bereavement, or seeking support for someone you care about, Organically Human offers compassionate guidance tailored to your needs. Every journey is different. We meet you where you are, offering practical, emotional, and educational support at your own pace. Beginning this work early can create more space for meaningful conversations, thoughtful planning, and connection throughout the end-of-life journey.

Testimonials

"I tragically lost my sister and Meg stepped into the shoes of a guiding light for me through the hardest, most painful moments of my life. The level of care she provided for my emotional and spiritual well being was intuitive and just what I needed. When most people would run away, Meg pulls in closer to give you the space to grieve and mourn in a way that reflects your love for your loved one. She breathes in more life to death, if that makes sense."

"Meg made sure I felt supported before, during, and after my mom's passing. She helped me find moments of peace and clarity amidst the chaos and reminded me that I was not alone in my grief. She supported myself and my family in a way no one else could have. I am forever grateful for Meg's support during such a difficult and sacred time. We laughed, cried, and truly were able to honor my mother in a way that I know she would be proud of."

"...Meg stepped in like a guiding light, offering clarity and comfort where everything else felt so uncertain. Metaphorically and literally, she took our hands, lifted our weary hearts, and walked us through each step of this season. She provided compassion, wisdom, and practical support for our father and our family...her guidance and empathy have left an enduring mark on our family. We will never forget her kindness. From the depths of our souls, thank you for being an angel in our time of need."
